All rugged up!

I thought this day would be a loooong time off but today I can confidentially say that all 60 of my Julip Originals have a headcollar and rug each!

I don't have any decent photos because the weather has been absolutely terrible lately and with it, the light levels, so you'll have to make do with some terrible phone photos and my word for it! XD

All rugged up!

All rugged up!

All rugged up!

Next challenge - get them all saddles and bridles!

  1. How do you keep all of your tack organized?

I'm also trying to have a complete tack set for each of my models, and I've got close to 100, minus minis.

    1. Pfft, what is this 'organised' of which you speak? XD

Technically I have a miniature tackroom, but it can't hold much so generally they're either wearing their tack (unless they've got a lot of white on them, in which case I only put it on for photos as I've had problems with the sun yellowing them, but leaving the parts under tack gleaming white!) or it's all (neatly) stuffed into a designated drawer!

      Oooh, good luck!

    2. Thanks. Right now I have bridles hung off of ears.

So far I've got bridles for most, halters for maybe half of the number that have bridles, and maybe 20 or so rugs, and only two have got their own saddles but I've got 8 or so other unassigned saddles.

I've thought about doing some photostories, but I struggle because all I've got are breyers. Maybe when I manage to acquire a few julips, though I'm slightly afraid to because I hear they're addicting.

  4. I want all my horses to have their own halters too. You've inspired me to keep going! Thanks! I also love the pirate rug with the skulls! So cute.
