By
this time in the day we were both getting pretty hungry, and once Magda spotted
a stand selling pizzas made to order, our fate was sealed. There was
a really interesting selection to choose from (I was very tempted
with the black pudding and apple!) but we decided to share a venison
pepperoni one as, at a whopping £9 per tiny pizza, it was already pretty pricey!
It was delicious, but half as small and twice as expensive as I'd
have liked!
We
found a place to sit on the grass by the walkway that led from the
stabling area to the main ring, and before we'd even sat down, I spotted a
contingent of ponies being led along to the ring for what I think was
one of the overall championships.
So cute!
The pose of this one makes me think of the Copperfox Exmoor!
I loved the colour of this one!
Another roany pony!
SO TINY OMG
Another roan!
I took pictures for a while then had my half of the pizza...then got straight back up again when they all came back a little later on! They were obviously going in size order, as the Clydesdales came first, followed by the Highlands.
Sabino markings are the best, but sabino markings with belly dapples are just perfect.
I love sabino when it presents like this with lots of ticking, giving a 'roaned' appearance.
You kind of forget how massive Clydesdales really are until you see them as foals. XD
Such a noble face!
Next came the Highlands
The stink-eye in this photo still cracks me up. XD
Dappleseseses...
We supplemented our pizza with an (similarly overpriced!) ice cream later on as it just wasn't enough!
Next up, Showjumping!
