Visiting the stables is always my favourite part of the show as it's really the only time you get to physically interact with the horses, and as I don't have any other horse time these days, it's a precious resource!
We began as ever with the Shetlands and minis.
I think I'd accidentally woken this one up!
There were lots of foals this year, all of which were too cute for words.
Lovely 'cat tracks' here!
Also a bonus Schleich Falabella! XD
There were far more dun Shetlands than usual, I felt. Normally they're nearly all black with the odd palomino or chestnut. Obviously the majority were black as is the apparent fashion, but once you've seen one they all look the same as they're all solid with no markings so I didn't bother photographing any of them!
So fashionable! XD
A few stables along, the Highlands began to appear, as well as a few rather festive decorations!
Dun...
...dun...
...dun!
I really liked this grey who couldn't decide whether to be dappled or fleabitten!
They were all super friendly and it was great to be able to walk over and give them all a fuss. :)
The foals in particular were really inquisitive and were determined to say hello despite the confines of their stables!
This has to be some of the most dramatic dun factor I've ever seen and I'm so annoyed I couldn't get any better photos!
My selfie game is not strong.
Our final part looms with the Unicorn Turnouts!
