After the purebred Arabs came the partbreds. I have to admit that I prefer the partbreds to the others, especially the ponies.
Not entirely sure about the blue pom pom things on the browband here. XD
Not entirely sure what the rider's doing here but I'm assuming she's not checking out her manicure.
I really need to make browbands like this for my Julips!
Next up, showjumping warmups!
I love your photos from this show! So much eye candy! Can't wait to see more :)
ReplyDeleteThese Beautiful partbred Arab horses are not as big as the Purebred Arabians. In viewing all of your posts in sequence, I am astonished at how little I know about horses in general. I have always appreciated the inherent grace and nobility of horses but other than that some were taller than others I never really looked at them closely and examined how different they can be!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad for all of your photos Christine because I feel that I am getting "educated". I know that these photos came with a price tag of a very miserable day, but in the end they were worth every minute of all of your "bad luck" -
well at least for me anyway! ;P

Oh I'm glad you like them! :D There's such a huge variety of types and breeds out there, I only get to see a tiny fraction of them!
